Hello everyone!
Exciting news! I will be living in Uxbridge, London, England as of August 17th 2013! This whole process is finally coming together and feels real now. I want to thank everyone who helped me along the way, no this won't turn into an over run Oscar speech, you all know who you are.
This blog is for me to keep you updated on everything that's going on and all the fun and interesting adventures I will be taking.
So just so everyone is up to date one what exactly I will be doing/the process of things I will be going to England to be an Au Pair for a very lovely family and their three adorable kids (no I have not met them in person yet, just Skype, but they have accents how isn't that adorable??) Now here comes the kind of boring stuff. I found this program through the Lambton College career site, Scotia Personnel Ltd. (if you're interested in traveling and working while doing so defiantly check out there site, they run Summer Camps, hire Nannies, Au Pair etc.) they were really great with communicating with me through the entire process and in January I started getting matched up with families.
After reviewing the families I was matched with I set up interviews with two of them and through just a phone call I knew I had the right family. So that's that.
